Those interested in competing in the 2024 Shelby County Fair Queen Pageant should attend a call out meeting Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Shelby County Fair office at the fairgrounds, 500 Frank St. in Shelbyville.

To be eligible to compete, girls must be a Shelby County resident and between the ages of 17 and 20. The 2023 fair queen was Triton Central graduate Hallie Schweitzer (photo).

The 2024 pageant will be held June 2.

The Shelby County Fair runs from June 10-15.
